meeting on joglo house

community meetings to discuss all problems in society jolgo usually done at home. joglo house is indeed a means which is provided as a place for community activities. meeting meeting, social gathering, study etc.. joglo house is owned by UGM jogjakarta.  joglo home, which sits in the big city. joglo house was bought by UGM and then in the renovation. one of the purchase and renovation of existing homes in Kotagede .

joglo this as an effort to save the house joglo from extinction. when an earthquake in 2006 in jogjakarta, joglo destroyed many houses, collapsed and damaged. when the community was not able to fix, so a lot of homes are sold to collectors joglo from out of town. joglo house moves later and disappeared from Kotagede location. joglo house as one Kotagede identity became lost. this is the basic renovation of one house joglo by this UGM. as part of efforts to preserve cultural heritage as home joglo java

joglo house now stands this stately, renovated by the Dutch grant. implementation of the renovation led by a team from UGM jogjakarta and using local carpenters experienced in detailed joglo home builders, in an effort to keep the buildings and detail the authenticity of this ancient house

china town typical building

china town in southeast asia has the characteristics of buildings (especially the style of the roof) that follow the architectural style of China, made, namely the series coincide house and almost no side yard, such as commercial buildings now or buildings are modern 'town houses' a level two.

whereas china town buildings in other countries like the U.S. and Europe, in general they are buying, renting or lease existing buildings and rarely was originally built its own, like china town in southeast asia, so that the building in china town with their architecture other existing buildings

royal bone, formed early 14th century or the year 1330.thereby, thuesday 6 april, even-numbered district bone has 680-year-old. in the tone of the commemoration, there was a procession, pre mattompang arajang, or  better known as the cleansing ceremony in arajenge heriloom, heirloom storage.arajang mattompang procession book, there are six objects in the purified royal heritage. at the heirloom thet purify, including golden parachute, golden sash, kelewang,kris,spears,and guns customary seven.

tongkonan (typical traditional house of Tana Toraja) roofed stone

At Tana Toraja district, there is a house tongkonan 700-year-old roof with stones. there in the village of Banga 'rembon district of Tana Toraja regency (Tator). From Makale town can be reached by motor vehicle approximately 20 minutes towards the west.

The house size of 1.5 X 2 meters. tongkonan briefly for granted, but if observed, the old building was full of historical values. but believed to be the product 700-year-old culture, are also open to stone. tongkonan roof stone carved as to form a thick rectangle about 5 inches wide and three-inch adult. at the end of the stone there are two small holes on the left and right. the hole as a place to attach the cable that will attach to the beams in the roof frame. at the top of the roof of a meeting between the left and right, closed using bamboo shards to rain water does not seep into tongkonan. tongkonan roofing stone was taken from the river not far from the village.

typical barn house lombok island

bam .. a typical traditional building construction backpacking ..., if the java functions as a store of rice and agricultural products. but this one, many collected by a diner and functioned as a "gazebo" for eating.
